Showa American Story is an RPG steeped in retro pop culture. In the late 1980s, a dominant Japan culturally colonized America. Resurrected from the grave, Chigusa Choko embarks on a road trip of combat, exploration, and growth across a world both absurd and strangely familiar. Showa American Story is developed by NEKCOM Entertainment and published by 4Divinity, 2P Games (Asia excluding Japan). Steam files it under Action, Adventure, Indie, RPG.

Showa American Story releases on Thursday, December 31, 2026. The countdown above updates live, so you always see exactly how many days, hours, and minutes are left.
